DAY 45, JUNE 15, 2015
I love today’s youth. They get a lot of flack for having been brought up with far too much attention from overly protective parents. It could be said that our upbringing bordered on neglect by comparison. We got spanked. We didn’t wear helmets. We had to go out and play without supervision. Yes, most of us survived but times were so different; a considerably smaller population for one thing.
I am constantly impressed by young people. I believe past generations have just as much to learn from them as they have to learn from the past.
Tonight, I joined a friend to see his son, a singer/songwriter perform at a local club. Anthony Lowy, aka President Mutt, was full of fun and has a unique voice that you leave wanting to hear more of. I hope he continues to write and perform.
Of course, what is a night out without dinner, so off to The Gladly restaurant we went with the proud father and his girlfriend.
Who knew?!: “If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music.” ― Albert Einstein
