A LONG BUT WORTHWHILE HOLD

DAY 44, JUNE 14, 2018

Okay, so I am starting to repeat myself.  After about 40 posts in as many days, it is a chore not to.  I love to read; there, I said it again.

Today after work, I went to the library to pick up a book I had put on hold.  At the time I think my hold position was 1 of 48.  It goes by fairly quickly depending on how many of that title the library has.  My wait for The Hush by John Hart was less than two weeks.  It is a sequel to The Last Child which I really enjoyed.  I hope this one is as good.

I stayed at the library reading for an hour, as I sat there, I realized I have been using libraries for over half a century.  I can actually say that I have been doing something for over half a century and it feels kind of cool, not cringee (made that word up) at all.  Maybe this “60 Days of doing something I love” is working.

Exactly:  Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing. Benjamin Franklin
