DAY 43, JUNE 13, 2018
If you have been following my blog (thank you) or know me personally, you know I love to do crafts. I love that you don’t have to be a great artist (I am not) or have a special skill (I don’t) to exercise your creativity. When you are crafting, you are working with your hands to make something; hopefully, something worth displaying or something useful. For me, it is very relaxing, I love the busywork.
Today, I finished these chore charts for a friend. It was a work in progress, I usually won’t start a new project until I complete one already started. I get a ton of satisfaction finishing things.
I found the instructions on Pinterest shared by: https://lemonsqueezyhome.com/2012/08/chore-charts-diy.html
I tweaked the instructions by keeping the glass in the frame. The magnets still stick really well and won’t turn the surface black and I think it looks much neater. I also used a better grade of wooden discs found here:
Lastly, I saved money by not using circle labels. I typed up the chores, printed on copy paper and used my 1″ circle cutter to make up the chores.
QUOTE FOR THE DAY: Sometimes what you’re most afraid of doing is the very thing that will set you free.
