DAY 40, JUNE 10, 2018
Sunday we drove the two plus hour trek home from Michigan followed by clouds and occasional rain. Once cleaned up and hungry, we ventured out, umbrellas in hand, to the Old Town Art Fair and Mills Street Art Festival. We weren’t sure the artists would be set up with the mizzly weather but they were. We walked around and visited the booths until our shoes pooled with rain and then jumped into the nearest pub for a beer and a meal.
I can definitely say I did something I love today. I visited a lot of artists booths at a festival and although the weather surely put a damper (pun intended) on the afternoon, it was still quite fun.
We didn’t take photos that day, but here is a shot of Old Town the weekend before, nice and sunny of course, with my friend Lee. The shot in the middle is from Tina’s apartment before we left the house. The third picture is the next day, less cloudy but still not clear. On clear days you can see the lake:
