DAY 36, JUNE 6, 2018
Chicago is such a great walking city. A fairly easy grid with Lake Michigan as your beacon. This “can get lost in a paper bag” person has yet to get lost. I for one am impressed. Those who know me, especially my husband, are probably having thoughts of doubt and speculation. I took a 20 minute walk to the Museum of Contemporary Art with nary a misstep (thank you Google maps) unless you count the first two minutes when I was headed in the wrong direction.
I arrived and had a late breakfast at the adjacent cafe. The museum was featuring the photographer, Kenneth Josephson’s work which I found fascinating. I glommed on to an existing tour and learned about the artist.
Here are a couple of photos from the exhibit.:
It is a small museum and I was done in a couple of hours. While I was inside it had rained a bit and I walked back to my friend Tina’s along the lake, breathing in rain scented air. A lovely way to spend the morning.
Quote for today: It takes a whole lot of sunshine to appreciate the rain. Sheryl Chiaramonte
