DAY 17, MAY 18, 2018
But you have gave me more love that set me free Like road trips on open roads Windows down sun setting and fresh new clothes Shoes off so you can stop reflect on all these paths unfolding With these staffs that are pulling in this world so controlling It’s not always best to take the interstate.
It was a good day! Sold a house, congrats Mr. Chan; helped a friend in need, feel better Kim; prepped for a road trip, and made these:
These small trinket dishes are examples I made in preparation for a Craft Day Party with friends coming up next month. The dishes themselves are from the dollar store. The designs are simply cut out from napkins and Hodge Podged on. Here is the link and credit for this inspiration: https://averageinspired.com/2018/03/the-easiest-diy-trinket-dish-ever.html. I added a small sachet of Lavender purchased at Tuesday Morning to make a nice gift presentation.
I am always in search of crafts that don’t take a lot of time and are easyish but worth the time. Most of my friends are not crafters, however, they indulge me and quite frankly, will do almost anything for Champagne. I can’t wait for the Craft Day Party and promise to share all of the masterpieces.
Prepping for a road trip with my besties to Bisbee, AZ. Way down south to the border of Mexico. Past Tombstone. It is about a 3 ½ drive. I am hoping to convince my friends that the Haunted Pub Crawl on my “need to do” list is the ticket for Saturday night. More on that to come.
From the master: “But why think about that when all the golden lands ahead of you and all kinds of unforseen events wait lurking to surprise you and make you glad you’re alive to see?” ― Jack Kerouac,
