DAY 7 – MAY 8, 2018

                One Fine Wire
And I'm juggling all the thoughts in my head
I'm juggling and my fears on fire
But I'm listening as it evolves in my head
I'm balancing on one fine wire.

I love my work.  A Realtor for 18 years, I have seen the ups and downs of the market and gone with the flow.  I have worked long hard hours and have also had the luxury of free time.  I am up with the birds and on the computer usually by 5:30 a.m.   I can usually get my paperwork, home searches and phone calls made by 1:00 p.m. which leaves afternoons for showing houses, classes and appointments.  I am an organized planner and fit a lot into my days.  I have some sleepless nights I attribute to having too many things going on at once.  I use those nights to read and usually fall back to sleep.  When I can’t, I am on Pinterest.  I am an avid Pinner.  I have dozens of boards and if I had to choose one thing I love the most about the internet, I would have to say the incredible range of awesomeness on Pinterest.  I know some people don’t get it.  I realize some people find it a frivolous waste of time.  I am mad for it!  And I don’t just look, I DO.  The pictures below show just a tiny small handful of the things I have learned to make.

Today, work has me busy so the “one thing I love” for today will have to be an ultra-simple craft in preparation for a Poker Party I am hosting on Saturday evening.  More on that as the week progresses.  More baking, more crafts to follow.  But for today, this simple use of old bent up playing cards, a banner, will have to do.
